Talladega Race (10-8-06) Results

Whoo-Hoo it's 'dega time kids! So how do you like restrictor plate racing? It is action packed, that is for sure. Here's hoping that no one gets injured in 'the big one'. As usual, I will post the qualifying and final race results here and if anyone wants to talk about the 'dega race, here's the place to do it!

What a weird race end! Jr handled himself well in his post race interview. And I see a lot of conversation on the shoutbox. So how did you race fans like the end of the race?

I loved it! That idiot Jimmie Johnson causes the mini one, causing Gordon to get wrecked, and Im glad Vickers spon Johnson, he deserved it. A great race. Jeff Gordon is not out of the championship, he is only 147 points behind, but he will most likely need help to do it.

Plain and simple, Jr. and Johnson both got screwed. You hear NASCAR talking about stoping this rough driving and when it happens, they do nothing about it. The win should have been stripped from Vickers in my opinion and if I was Jr., I would have gotten out of my car and beat Vicker's ass.

You know that was my first opinion too, that they should strip Vickers of the win, but now I am not so sure that would be right. I have watch replays of the incident and there was no way that Brian Vicker could have avoided Jimmy Johnson. I am now inclined to believe what Jr himself said after the race, it was just a racin' thing!

What Nascar should have done was to let the race continue. Had they raced back the the line, Kasey Kahne or Kurt Busch would have been standing in Victory Lane instead of Vickers!

By the way, Hello and welcome to Nascar Space 8jrfan! Could you pease tell us a little about yourself in the "Introduce Yourself" forum? Thank you
