There are only 8 races left to determine the 2006 Nascar Nextel Cup Champion. So who do you think it will be? Have you got a favorite? We know that the "King of Nascar" will be one of 10 drivers in the Chase, but who?........

I will post the standings/points here after every race, and would like to know who y'all think it will be. My man didn't make the chase this year, for the first time. So I, and a few of you too, will start rooting for one of the Chasers to win. I will be very happy if one of three drivers win. They are my top three picks to win the championship:
