The Sept. 23 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway has been named the Dodge Dealers 400 under terms of a newly announced sponsorship.
David Spade, "Saturday Night Live" alumnus and current star of the CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," will serve as grand marshal. R. Lee Ermey, the host of "Mail Call," will serve as the honorary starter and wave the green flag.
As part of the new sponsorship, any customer who purchases a Dodge car or truck from dealers in the Baltimore, DelMarVa Peninsula, Norfolk, Richmond or Roanoke, Va., areas or in West Virginia, between Aug. 13 and Sept. 10, will receive four tickets to the race. Details are available at
www.FreeDoverTickets.com.
In addition, 3,000 tickets will be distributed through the USO to active-duty servicemen and women and their families so they can attend the Dodge Dealers 400.
