Kyle Busch doesn't dabble in the Craftsman Truck Series very often, but when he does he makes the most of it.

Busch will make his 2007 Truck Series debut in the Quaker Steak and Lube 200 at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Friday (8:30 p.m. ET, SPEED) where he will try to win the race for the third consecutive year.

Last year, Busch also made his NCTS debut at Charlotte posting his only victory. In seven races he finished in the top 10 in all seven, including three top-fives.

"You come over here wanting to have some fun and race hard and do a good job," Busch said. "That is what we're going to do."

Busch will again pay homage to one of his favorite movies, Days of Thunder, by driving the No. 51 Chevrolet and have "Rowdy Busch" above the window. "Rowdy Burns," the character played by Michael Rooker, drove the No. 51 in the 1990 movie starring Tom Cruise.

Interesting Fact

3 Only three drivers have won three consecutive races at the same track. Jack Sprague did it at Phoenix from 1996-97, Ted Musgrave did it at California from 2001-03 and the record for most consecutive wins at one track belongs to Brendan Gaughan who won four in a row at Texas Motor Speedway from 2001-03.

Fun Fact

1 Believe it or not, "Days of Thunder" is actually an Academy Award nominee. In 1991, the stock-car flick was nominated for Best Sound along with "Dick Tracy", "The Hunt for Red October", "Total Recall" and winner "Dances with Wolves".
