I think the situation with Eury Jr. is beyond fixing. Since Eury Jr. has been on the box he has never shown any ability to make adjustments on a car during a race. This is not something you would normally say about a crew chief in the Hendrick's organization. Earnhardt Jr. made a huge mistake in bringing him with him and frankly I was shocked when they made the announcement last year. Family loyalty is one thing but you can tell there is a lack of trust in Eury's calls by the way they are constantly arguing on the radio. Dale Jr. is not known for being an easy driver to work with, especially when it comes to explaining what the car needs done to it. He respected Eury Sr. enough to listen to him when he would tell him to shut up and drive the damn car. Eury Jr. doesn't get that. Maybe they both realize that Eury Jr.'s career hinges on not pissing Dale Jr. off. Regardless of the reasons this isn't working if Dale Jr. went to Hendrick to win a cup he needs to swallow some pride and admit it was a mistake to bring Eury Jr. with him.
