A man accused of firing a gun in an Elk Mound neighborhood and leading police on a high speed chase was in court Wednesday.

The judge set a $1,000 cash bond for 27-year-old William Cecil Clark.

The Dunn County District Attorney is considering charges of felony reckless endangerment and felony resisting an officer. Deputies say Clark was firing a rifle in his home last week.

He then came out of his home and took off in a vehicle. Officers chased him and ultimately arrested him.

Clark will be in court again on Tuesday where he's expected to be formally charged.
