Red face Waiting for Wings?

I'm kinda embarrassed to be from Wisconsin just because of this article! lol

A new restaurant inspires people from all over the area to camp out in a parking lot in Onalaska all weekend. We found out what it was like to sleep on the pavement and why people are willing to do it.

Some people slept in cars, others slept in tents, and some people even slept in lawn chairs -- all for the food they love.

"It's my birthday today,” says camper Chris Alitz. “So I figured I'd give myself a free present for the rest of the year."

Alitz says he would do just about anything for Buffalo Wild Wings hot wings. He and his friends slept in the parking lot all weekend to prove it.

"They wanted to buy a tent but by the time we got here it was almost dawn. It was alright. We got by I suppose."

The wings weren't the only thing on peoples’ minds. Some just came to have a good time.

"It's a good bonding experience,” says fellow camper, Ross Petro. “We're having a lot of fun out here meeting a lot of good people."

The restaurant officially opened its doors Monday morning and everyone couldn't wait to taste their prize.

"We are going to enjoy the wings but after the wings come the rest of our lives," says Petro.

The first 100 hungry costumers through the door got free wings for a year and Alitz says he can't wait to live off of wings.

He says he’ll come to the restaurant, "As often as they let me, hopefully more often."

Almost 200 people camped out over the weekend.
