attending; motel or camping?
For all the fans who have attended races do you normally stay at a motel/hotel or camp on the grounds? Which do you prefer if having done both?
We stayed in a motel at Texas and camped at Talladega. I much prefer camping on the grounds versus motel. main reason being: when the races is over you can walk right back to your camp site and not have to fight the traffic. The atmosphere is so much more fun and exciting as well. At Texas the traffic was horrible. It took us about 4 hours to drive the 25 miles to our rooms. This is not counting the hours we were lost on the loops in dallas.
