Cool The Chrome Shop Mafia.....

The Chrome Shop Mafia To Partner With Key Motorsports In Major Market Race Truck Sponsorship Program This Season

Key Motorsports Press Release

LEBANON, TENNESSEE (August 10, 2007) – The cast of one of television’s most popular reality shows is going NASCAR racing!

Bryan “Bossman” Martin from the Chrome Shop Mafia and members of his crew has established a marketing partnership with the Mooresville, North Carolina-based Key Motorsports NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race team. The Chrome Shop Mafia is featured on national cable television as the group of seven unique personalities and talents that “makeover” big rigs for lucky truckers in need.

The formation of this unique relationship was announced at a press conference at the Nashville Superspeedway here this morning prior to practice for Saturday afternoon’s Toyota Tundra 200.

“Hey, this a great opportunity for the CSM crew to partner up with the folks from Key Motorsports and see what we can do in the NASCAR truck racing world,” said Martin. “We are excited to get involved in the racing business in a new way. After all, the Chrome Shop Mafia is all about truckin’, so let’s see what we can do in the Craftsman Truck Series. It’ll be fantastic exposure for us and all of our sponsors and you know we’ll have some fun doing it and meeting the race fans and racers. We can’t wait to get crackin’!”

The plan currently being developed by the Key Motorsports sales team would feature the #40 Chrome Shop Mafia Chevrolet Silverado competing in up to five races over the remainder of the 2007 season in specially selected markets conducive to the CSM marketing strategy. Under consideration are the races scheduled for the Gateway International raceway outside of St. Louis on September 1, Las Vegas on September 22, Talladega, AL on October 6, Atlanta on October 27 and the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth on November 2.

The race at Gateway International is the venue closest to the Joplin, MO home of the CSM organization and where the TV series is shot.

The Chrome Shop Mafia and the group’s supporting sponsors will kick off the relationship with Key Motorsports this weekend at the Nashville Superspeedway as the CSM logo will appear on the #40 Key Motorsports entry that will be sponsored by the Westerman Companies and driven for the third consecutive race by rookie Brandon Moore.

“Our sales staff has been working on this project since March, and we are extremely excited that all of their hard work has paid off with this truly unique program,” said Key Motorsports team founder and owner Curtis W. Key, Sr.

“The Craftsman Truck Series has struggled for its share of notoriety and attention in the past, and we‘re hoping that this relationship with the Chrome Shop Mafia, their fans and all of the NASCAR race fans will help generate more interest in the truck series. We’re anxious to kick off this program over the final third of the 2007 season,” Key added.

Several corporations tied to the trucking industry will support this sponsorship. A list of the marketing partners will be announced at the same time as the definitive race schedule, hopefully by the end of this month.

Members of the Chrome Shop Mafia will attend these races and will sign autographs for fans at the organization’s merchandising trailer that will be on display at each race. A host of Chrome Shop Mafia/Key Motorsports racing apparel and other souvenirs will be developed to support this project.

“Everyone is into NASCAR these days, and we are no exception,” Martin confessed. “It all goes together – trucks, racin’, good music and hard workin’ fans – just havin’ fun and rootin’ for their favorite team or driver! It will be just one more way where all of our fans can cross over into other areas of interest and vice versa. Big rig fans love racin’ and race fans love big rigs! It all goes together real nice,” Martin added.
