BRISTOL, TENNESSEE (TICKER) -- Travis Kvapil will start on the pole for Wednesday night's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Driving a Ford F-150, Kvapil circled the 0.5330-mile speedway in 15.840 seconds at an average speed of 121.136 miles per hour.

It was the second pole of the year for Kvapil, who won this event in 2003. He enters this race third in the standings, 236 points behind leader Mike Skinner.

Kvapil picked up his second win of the year two weeks ago when he captured the Toyota 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. His other win this year came from the pole at the Michigan 200.

Joining Kvapil on the front row is the Chevrolet Silverado of Brendan Gaughan, who turned in a lap of 120.991 mph.

Skinner, who holds an 82-point lead over Ron Hornaday atop the standings, starts fifth in a Toyota Tundra.

Defending champion Mark Martin starts 10th in a Ford.

That was an awesome race! Johnny Benson came up and won the race. I was surprised he won! Travis Kvapil and Brendan Gaughan got into each other with about fifty to go. Travis and Brendan for fighting for the lead when the wreck occured. Brendan Gaughan got loose and slid up the track and bumped into Travis and they both slid around without hitting the wall! The didn't get hit by any cars either so they handled there trucks very well! I hope that race will be as exciting as the Bush Race this Friday!

This was a pretty good race for the most part. I felt sorry for Travis getting spun while leading but it was an accident.
