Just thought I would introduce myself. I am a 27 year old mother of three, and a Nascar junkie. Kasey Kahne is the man! Not just cuz of the pretty blue eyes either! Dude can race the heck out of a car.

I personally have been a fan of Kasey since his first race in the Nextel Cup, people thought I was crazy but I liked his skills and the fact the he was humble and shy and not a show boat.. He's developed into an outstanding driver, and can now balance his agressiveness, with intelligence in racing... he'll do VERY well this season! Welcome aborad and don't be afraid to post!

Kasey has grown so much. I followed him when he first started in the 38 Busch car (he was one of the few guys that came from my area of the U.S). When he went on to Cup I was thrilled. He did so great his rookie year. Then, hehe, when he went through his "sophmore slump" last year, I remember people telling me that his first year was a fluke. I thought THEY were crazy, and I stuck with my guy through his abysmal year. But lo and behold, look at him now...second in standings, 8 behind the leader. I am stoked!!! I am proud to be a ninefan....as proud as I was last year when people thought I was crazy!

Hey Ninefan, glad to see you are a true fan through ups and downs. I have been a Kurt Busch fan since he beat Spencer(I believe his first win). He has made me shake my head at times(running from the cops, leaving Roush the way he did), but since I like him when he won the championship, I will stick with him now, even when I wonder what he is thinking. True fans stick with their drivers through thick and thin

Absolutely! I am not a Kurt fan, but a lot of people are, and the ones that stuck with him through all the controversy are his true fans. I think that's cool.

I am new to this sight but have been a nascar fan for many years. I am still waiting to Mark Martin to win this thing, this is his last chance unless someone else quits and Jack talks him into staying one more year. Glad I found this spot to talk to all the other Nascar people who live and die on what happens Sunday at the track.
