and 'welcome to' was the little ditty I use to do, it was all about nascar cup racing. I enjoyed creating and posting it each week, a little 'off road' travel of this great country we all live in, and information about each race track and place (history, records, etc).
Hello, my name is Deb, and I reside in northern california along with my beloved family members among the Redwood Tree's and Grape Vineyards. Not the wine-maker (mom is), but do have a professional career. I guess most think they know or understand it, but in reality, it's so much more and more comes with it. I do work very hard, and relax hard, a real genuine love for a good deal many things. Dedicated (workaholic) the god given strong point from where I stand and see it, but it's all easy going and passion when outside the box, loving it more when I'm wrapped up in what I'm doing.
An old soul at heart, home is where I hang it - heart. A great love of human nature - swimming, ocean (removes me), sunsets, clouds, warm waters, beaches, sunsets, music (my soul) and stumming my guitar which just sets me free. And I sing (horrible), but do it anyway. Excitement comes when I'm surprised while exploring, re-winding, and doing my thing. I love humor, and laughter for me anyway, is key. Even laugh at myself sometimes - Have too in life.
My closet 'race-track' is Calistoga, "Where the mud-flingers are". A big fan of dirt racing, one of my favorite things is to watch those direct drive hammerdown guys "get it on" out there. Grooves are always changing, but I can tell you it's always the same when The World of Outlaws come to town - EXCITED IS ME! And I love my teams passionately, rooting them on, and devote an entire weekend when they come to town. I spread the word out too! Always have, always will - a part of me.
I've watched sports all my life, and have enjoyed a great many moments but nothing grab and squeeze holding me more than one day, one car and it was taking flight as if a rocket going to the moon, yet gravity brought it down, and down hard into traffic around him. I felt as if The world stood still....as if finally a sport that I have loved watching for years, begged "come here". I wanted to run and see if he was ok - get him out and do whatever was needed. I never thought he would survive - but he did and I've been in a trance, I wouldn't choose it any other way.
Regardless of what some might say, racing isn't about just going left, there's so much more and the best part is - THE FANS. They bring it, and they spend it - Nascar Racing offers up stuff that touches your every emotion; good, bad and ugly. But for me it's the race - drive hard, killing machines and nobody did that better than Dale Earnhardt Sr. He will always have it - 'heartbeat'.
I once made a 2 hr trip (one-way) to meet that driver who by now had recovered from that horrible wreck that day. Keep in mind, Ive been watching racing for over 20 years, and yet......listening, reading between lines, and watching those little things he would do, -he got the best of me - and amazed. Although rushed through, time allowed me to watch what I had seen on TV. There is just so much inside that guy, he's not only smart, but a tiger by all definitions of the real thing in life. He's handsome, and yet independent in what he says and believes. That's what it takes in my book. That and oh, the gift of drive. Some people when they find it, they try but can't ever 'turn it off'. I hope he never settles and always strives enjoying ALL (wrong, right, indifferent) he chooses in life. But I say let go, let live and drive Tony Stewart. I got ya by the tail.
I can write a book on Dale Jr but the bottom line would read - there would be no DEI today, if not for Dale Jr.
In a day when most people in their 20's don't even have a clue in life, before us all while having to mourn his own great loss, he carried a World of Racing, those who passionately love it, those who are directly involved, and those who never even know or care what Racing was all about. With unimanagable pressures, toss in news and media, camera and video's, if seeing him come through and grab hold as he has done - DO IT? if that doesn't show 'capable and determination in life' or "sex appeal and strong', than would someone please tell me what does DO IT in life?
Dale Jr has got something so magical, I can't even put my finger on it, I wouldn't even try too. It's not what he says, but how he says it, and it will always get the best of me - noone can play me for a fool but keep this guy away - no doubt, I'd be like a cod fish standing before him with my mouth open. Strange, I've met and know celebrities and I could care less....but Dale Jr? I aint saying he's a god but where in the heck did he get all that for which he does have inside, that which he himself doesn't realize he has (at times), and stand there and make like a bird in flight?
From his build, to that coloring (like an angel - don't be touching my man honey!), he breathes everybit "male" and yet one wonders just how 'sane' one could be after all that has came in his life. I like what I'm seeing in Dale Jr. and I hope he continues to stand up and fight. The Man as God intended him to be, he came from great stock which I loved and loved the man so dearly. He was a killing machine out there - gifted and self destructive hated himself - to be the best in life or not be. There are no questions...
I couldn'f of done even what Ms. Teresa has done - this entire family to me, although I do believe Ms. Teresa has been so hard on him, all have something to bring, and be very proud of. But I want a new captain to drive this boat. I'm ready to take my chair and watch him try and bring it. There is nothing 'guaranteed in life' but you never fail if you try - and dale would try in life!!
I love Dale Jr., not because of where or who he is, but because of what he has done, -all of him. Yep, he's a handsome fellow and a nice built, sexy and that's why so many chase him but that's not my point. DEI IS of his own and I aint gonna give up on something that I think can be made and made yet again. It's all them writing different Pages because there are different, but it's still the same Book just the same. Does somebody need a mirror? This Family makes the choice to write it, or not - dangle carrot jumpers get off the pot! I say Good Luck! ....safe, fun and speed but for the one who does it for me out there - Take care and do as The Man would of wished of you to do someday. I believe in that! - and this helping hand which will feed regardless, it will never be pulled back.
A few of my favorite things -
Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Kyle and Kurt Busch - for different reasons, but
Kenny Wallace - lifts me up, -and I wish his family would adopt me.
Jimmy Spencer - brings it -factually, and humor does it for me.
Kenny Schrader - Mud Fight Buddy? Do you..ha, ha?
Larry, Curley, Moe - Respect Always - One and Done and will never be anything but watching and listening, learning and loving all you give to the sport of racing. Who wouldn't want to be right in the middle of those three amigos? I would, cut away car stuff with Hammond, or SAY HEY - Can I drive the car I(whine and it's increasing), while you sit there and hush a spat DW
Elliott -ET was so cute too. What does he use to keep all of ladies away? I work with all men and a couple could use it. What can I say but say the truth - What's M&M's when you got Elliott in the Car..
Kevin Harvick -did you actually just say what I think you did, again? The man of surprises. I don't think bakersfields back roads are every gonna be the same. Ms. Delana is a doll - Hat left on or off, a girl after my own heart and I love it when a women loves on their man as she does in public. OK in my book.
Kasey Kahne -Joey Rocks and Flings it my way!! ROOT ROOT, but can you bring it? I'm not so sure who you are - it's all about lady luck here "calistoga".
Matt Kennseth -reminds me of my own family, including his wife (she's a little sweetie)
Ryan Neuman -I love geeks, and your wife is a natural beauty
And More.....You Call it - I'll watch and love them all just the same...Happy Racing Everyone, -Deb

Heading into Bristol, Jimmie Johnson continues to lead the Nextel Cup standings by 58 points over Kenseth just three races before the top 10 is officially set at Richmond on Saturday, Sept. 9. Johnson overcame a flat tire on the second lap Sunday at Michigan to bounce back with an impressive 13th-place finish. Although he did not clinch a top-10 Sunday, Johnson could guarantee that with a strong Bristol finish Saturday.

CREW CHATTER
Bristol is .533 mile concrete oval. Turns are 36 degrees (debated by Ryan Newman in the past) and 16 degree’s on the straight-aways. Just the Pits (both sides have them) and where to enter has confused a few of them. This track is 3 hrs of bumping while not trying to loose your head anticipating that someone ahead of your windshield (can’t see) checked up or got into it -“crew chiefs are busy!.“
No pit stop now Benny we’re all eating ice-cream…..Rest Up and Heal BP!
Brakes are important and you can go down laps, and in a hurry. Had 16 Caution Flags here last year and 17 lead changes among 9 driver’s. It’s a single file merry go round where driver’s aren’t plastic - using all sense’s maintaining focus, hopefully comfortable, and allow ears, eyes and hands do all the talking.
At the Track? “I can’t hear you!” this place is just LOUD, and a lot of Fans love that!
