Just wanted to introduce myself. This is my virgin voyage. I am a huge Robby Gordon fan. Give me a break, I am from southern California and I race off-road. I know there is not many of us out there, especially after last weekend's race.
Welcome to Nascar Space, we are always happy to have a new member. You might find one or two Robby Gordon fans here, too. We all have our favorite driver, but we all are race fans! Feel free to join in any conversation at any time. We look forward to talkin' racin' with you!

Well I have never met a Hermie Sadler, Kevin Lepage, or Kevin Grubb fan. Let alone all in one. No offense but is there a reason why you are a fan of so many drivers, especially these 3? I can understand J. Gordon, J. Johnson, or Edwards.
lol im different.. ill explain for everyone why i like the drivers.. i am a fan of many.. theres only a few drivers i dont like... i like
Jamie McMurray- i've always been a mcmurray fan, also i was a marlin fan and when he took over his ride and won it locked him in as my favorite
Aric Amirola- young driver i've seen last year and impressed me
Sterling Marlin- been my favorite since i was like 4
Jeff Gordon - always liked him
Jimmie Johnson - very good team and focused driver
Hermie Sadler- busch roots.. i love bgn racing and hermie used to drive the 1 dewalt car..
Carl Edwards - i like his personality and hes a great driver
Kyle Busch - followed him up through the ABC-T program
David Gilliand - impressed me.. personally i love the team tobad its closing up
Kevin Grubb - i like how he changed.. and hes doing alright in a pretty shitty team
Kevin Lepage - always liked him .. he never has a great team but has shown signs of talent even with bad teams..
i normally pull for the underdog...
i do have to say robby is more focused then he was.. and i'll be optimistic and say that if he continues to gain more and more experience with his newer team.. hes starting to impress.. not gonna be a true fan but hes definitly getting better

Like I mentioned before in this thread, when you have a car and the ability like he did/does on a road course you HAVE to be patient. When he does not get many good finishes and he is a ringer, as much as he wants to win, a top 5 would have been much better than a 39th or 40th place finish. You must have been bummed twice as much with Tony having his problems with Boris.
I do not want to turn this into a T. Stewart thread but root for him quite a bit. I have him on my Nascar.com fantasy team and guess you just have to roll with punches. Where was it, Chicago where he ran out of gas on the last lap, New Hampshire where he gets in a wreck in the lead, and Sonoma. Frustrating, but see being a R. Gordon fan I am used to that (Atlanta)
To fan26McMurray, sounds like you have explained your reasons for liking all those guys more than once. Your reason for liking Marlin was how I was with T. Labonte for years when he was in the Billy Hagan Piedmont Airlines car. I switched over to Robby years later because of the in common factor. My dad is a J. Gordon fan, Edwards just has the Sophomore jinx going on, I do not think I will ever like Kyle B., and McMurray, does he have it in him? That race at Loudon, he had the sponsor of the race on his car (Lenox), started in 33rd, fell to last, and finished 33rd through attrition. I think he is really talented, I do not know what is wrong.
Oh well, that is one of the reasons there are 43 cars in the field, so we all can root for someone for whatever reason.
