how many mcmurray fans out there.. the 26(97) team is improving and i think will be a championship contender next year.. if he keeps doing good. we could make the chase only 5 positions back

I'm a Jamie fan! I don't understand why he hasn't run better this year. Must be the "getting to know each other" phase.

I tell you what, Jamie might have just turned his season around with two 3rd place finishes this weekend. That has to be a confidence booster for him. Good for him, he needed that in a bad way! Lets see how he does in the next couple of races. Maybe I will start to buy Crown Royal again.

I hope you're right desertroots! I think Jamie is a good guy, you never hear him complaining about anything. It would be very cool to see him win this year. I get tired of the same drivers winning over and over again.

I heard him on XM Radio yesterday and he said that when he finished 2nd at Dover earlier in the year, the media said that this is what he needed to turn his season around but he didn't feel the same way. The team was still jelling and not quite there yet. After this weekend, he had a whole new attitude. Rousch has built his team some new cars that work really well and he feels very strong about getting some of the same results in the near future. Time will tell.

What has happened to Jamie? He has fallen out of the top 20. He better step it up next season or Jack will cut his contract short. Jack will buy Martins contract from MB2 and put him in the 26 car.

I am a huge Jamie fan. He is my number 1 driver. Last year they had a really rotten year and I know that this year isn't looking much better but except for being caught up in the wreck at Daytona and California you can tell the 26 team is running better this year with quicker pit stops. I see him going to victory lane at least once this season!!
