I was watching the prerace show Sunday... I really like to be informed of the lastest improvements and changes to the cars etc. The new shock deal they have for the teams...where you add a little piece of metal in between what looks like springs...for the handling of cars...I couldn't quite hear all of what they was saying...(givin' blood at our local Red Cross and some people was talking around me) I thought I heard Kenny Wallace said that new thing that they implement for the teams...was costing around $2 million for each team to have... and that it takes alot of the feel of the race car a way from the driver? First off...what with the rising cost of everything and wanting to stay competitive...doesn't this potiently shut out some race car teams that are struggling as it is...it's getting a bit out of hand...it should be about the drivers skill and they're abilitity to cope and make the adjustments they feel they need to make...I could have this all wrong...let me know more ...is it because Nextel (Nascar) is trying to get a more even competitive field???
