have to disagree....Harvick has not proven to be one of the drivers that's a contender no matter what track they go to, he still has his difficulties at some places....not saying that Jr is good everywhere either....really only Kenseth, Gordon, and Stewart are those types of drivers with those types of teams

If this was the 1950's, Jeff Gordon would be Pat Boone and Dale Jr. would be Elvis....both were great singers, but we know who had the most fans.

I would have to dissagree right back at you, Harvick has done well at the up and coming tracks, He finished 3rd at Dover in the Spring, Won Pheniox, Finished in the top 5 at the Coca Cola 600. So saying the next tracks coming up are difficult for him is the wrong statement with that hot streak he is on, 3 wins in 6 races.

just cause he ran well earlier this year, doesnt mean he'll run well again...look at his entire career....and also, a hot streak doesnt mean it will carry for 9 more weeks, there are other drivers in the top 10 who have yet to catch fire

Well I guess seeing your driver with 1 win and mine with 4 wins, and Harvick sitting in the top of the points standings in Busch AND Cup. PlZ tell me where your driver stands in the point standings, and that hot streak has been going on all season, 6 wins in the Busch Series and 4 in the Cup, and the one Busch win Earnhardt got was when he cheated when he spun out Carl Edwards. It really ticks me off when NASCAR will give all the other drivers fines and warnings and stuff, but when it is the ALL MIGHTY DALE EARNHARDT JR. they dont do anything and I am glad that he got booed when he spun out Carl Edwards, he deserved it.

i dont know bout treating drivers unfairly.. people say that Nascar treats drivers differently. and i think when you are a fan of a driver and donot like the other one you tend to feel that they get away with a lot more... i have come to realize it is really just how we see it.. and im not saying Nascar doesn't make mistakes, just like in football the refs make mistakes, i just dont think Nascar gives anyone an unfair advantage. Roush, HMS, DEI, RCR, etc. are all top notch organizations theres no doubting that.. so why would Nascar give an advantage to anyone..

now with the chase in mind... i like the chase but there are some flaws, for example someone can run so well in the year like Tony Stewart, and not make the chase, that is wrong.... As long as you keep yourself in the top ten all year .. apparently that is the part that makes the drivers nervous.. the scary part should be not making mistakes in the final ten races.... I think every driver has one gimmie.. jimmie (notice the rhyme ) has used his, that team has been a championship quaility team ( like kenseth when he won the championship) all year, they just cannot crack underpressure, could harvick win? yes... could jr win? yes... could gordon win? yes.. its all a tossup of making sure you finish good in the final ten races.

wow thanks for reading my novel

but you have to admit that some drivers get away with a little more than some, because last year Jimmie Johnson failed a post-race inspection after he won at Las Vagus and didnt do anything. Dale Jr. spun out Carl Edwards in a busch race and NASCAR again didnt do anything. Now, Clint Bowyer accidenty got into the back of some1 in a race becasue his car was faster in the turns then the guy he wrecked, what did NASCAR do, sent him to the back for wreckless driving. Carl Edwards comes back on the track and hits Dale Jr. and NASCAR gives him a heavy fine (not saying that is right to come back on the track and hit some1...thats what got Cole Trickle fired lol) but not giving Dale Jr. any fines was wrong. Im not saying anything bad about Dale Jr., im just saying he gets away with more than most becasue of his last name.

I would have to back you up on the Chase having flaws, becasue its hard to defend your championship if your not even in the chase. If there was a tie between 10th and 11th in points after Richmond, there would of been an 11 man chase or if the 11th place driver was in 400 points of the lead. You might disagree with me now, but if it was your favorite driver that was the defending champion, you would agree with me 110% all the way.
