Once again Jimmie's chance for a win today was spoiled by those horrible GoodYear tires...it should be like F1 or MotoGP were the teams gets to choose between a few different brands.

exaclty wut happened to Jamie Mac. man, he did have an awesome run there till they both blew their tires....great job to Reed!!

Doesn't every team get the same tire? How is that not fair?

Who is to say that it's the tires fault? There are plenty of things that can cause a tire to go down. As Smoked said keep the tires the same and have Goodyear make a better tire. I think that the tires have been better this year than in the past.

X-actly ... and if you all remember the ole hoosier vs goodyear BS of days gone by... much easier to control one tire manufacturer than two or more! nascar has enough things to chase after!

this is the 3rd or 4th races this year alone where Jimmie is a victim of a blown tire. It's not fair because not every racer has the same driving style, Jimmie's style obviously doesn't conserve his tires, hence they should let them experiment with other brands like they do in MotoGP or Formula one. Nascar having a monopoly on tires is BS. Imagine if NBA teams could only buy Basketball shoes from the NBA itself and they were all the Nike or Adidas.

How motivated do you think Goodyear is to building a better tire if they don't have any competition ? it's common sense.
