I,m sorry everyone, I really did try and keep track of how many cars JPM contacted. Between TNTs poor coverage, multiple angles/replays and a little confusion over multiple hits on the same cars, then there was the nap I took somewhere around lap 40-50........ Well EVERYONE who said he,d contact at least one car WON!!! WOOOHOOOOOO
Wait till Watkins Glenn.

i love it when everyone is high on the rubbin is racin' macho NASCAR mantra, until a racer takes it to heart. if someone wont get out of his way, he will move them (just ask tony raines). seems there are some other drivers that were glorified for the same thing that montoya is villified for.
think of nascar from montoya's point of view, before he came to nascar, his nascar experience were 2 things, "days of thunder" and highlights of dale sr. spinning evreryone on the track, what do you thnk he is going to do?
i also like how you post that his qualifying was a dissapointment, but not that he still one the race with the slowest car on the track, and passed most cars on the track
I,m happy to see everyones haveing a little Fun with my "Tongue in Cheek Poll " Nothing against JPM and his skills but I,m really interested to see how he does at Sonoma, and I AM NOT A ROADRACE kinda guy.
Between JPMs first roadrace event against the NASCAR Big Guns and Kyle Petty announcing IN CAR during the race it should be a Good One.
Sorry Bradley if I offended you as I stated earlier this was a "Tongue in Cheek" poll, just having a little Fun is all. No I,m not a Montoya fan never have followed F1 racing, open wheel racing to me is a sprint car or a modified. I do however commend Montoya for the way he handles himself even when he struggles or has a bad day, hes a class act, and always a great interveiw.
PS Pettys in car " color commentating" turned out to be a Much Bigger Deal than I thouth it would be!

ohh no not at all, i do think its unfair how much ribbing and critisizm he gets sometimes, and sometimes its nice to point it out
i never watched F1 either. i actually heard he was coming from F1 and knowing how much different they are that got me intriqued to watch NASCAR I never saw more than 2 or 3 laps before the 2007 daytona 500) and ive also come to watch some F1 this year also. So montoya is the sole reason that i started watching NASCAR and F1. no he dosent race F1, but i was curious to see exactly where he came from
and BTW, he really only hit Kurt Busch (spun him) in a way that affected him. you could even say that JPM just didnt expect KB to brake that soon, and KB really didnt seem to mind he got spun (crazy world huh?) he rubbed JJ a few tiems, but johnson kept cutting his nose off and i think JJ got off lucky with some door to door action instead of a bumper into the wall. other than that i dont think he really did any rubbing/bumping more than anyone else
