kkfan - i'm not hating i'm just saying he went from what 6 wins one year to none the next. I'm glad kasey's doing good now but i wouldn't call him superman best in the sport dominator. I'm just waiting to label kyle "great" until he is consistent year to year.
I was thinkin the exact same thing. We have all seen drivers get a car that just cannot lose. Kasey is a perfect example. Not hating on kasey at all, but he had a car a couple of years ago that just won every time he raced it. (except 1 blown tire cost him) Once that car was wrecked he didnt win again for a long while. Now, he's got another, and he's kicking everyone's tail now. It's real simple, if Gibbs fail to continue making cars that race this well, Kyle will stop winning. If they continue giving him cars capable of winning, he will. In my opinion, the cars are WAY, WAY more important than the drivers ability. Seriously, how many drivers in the Sprint Cup series woudnt have won that race Sunday with that 9 car? Kasey even said it was the most dominate car he has ever had. This coming from a guy who hasnt exactly had to make last lap passes when he has won. When u have a supercar, people will call u superman. Kyle Busch is a very good driver. So is Kahne, but they aint nothin without a great car!

Idk I disagree with Kasey I saw his 2004 fall Lowes car that blew a tire while leading Bristol 2007 and Richmond 2005 were pretty dominent

Yeah, I thought that was kinda strange that he said that too. Kasey has pretty much dominated in all of his wins. He did have the best car by far sunday though. Again, Kasey is a very talented driver, but when your car is that good, all u have to do is not make a mistake, and not have bad luck to win the race. It's Kasey now. It was Kyle before, and it could be anyone on one the major teams tommorrow. The point is, if your driver is dominating now, enjoy it while it lasts, cuz it might not last long. Your driver can only do so much if his car isnt right. Kyle's car has been right this year. don't mean it will be next year, or even later this year. It's a little early to call him the next Jeff Gordon. He doesn't even have ten wins in his Sprint Cup Career for christ's sake!
