plz ppl, don't forget 9/11
Current mood: sad and angry
our troops are in iraq fighting and the bad thing is, some people don't even remember why. if u are one of those or even if u aren't then listen up. (on September 11, 2001 two planes struck the world trade center. another later flew straight into the pentagon, and another crashed down in pennsylvania and was said to be headed to the capital.) just because it has been 7 yrs don't mean anything. just because their hasn't been any attacks on us in
a while don't mean anything. and who cares if it ain't September. We should always remember this. September 11 was possibly one of the most if not the most scariest and saddest day in American history. The world trade center and t he pentagon were both hit by terrorists. And behind all this is Iraq. that is what our troops are doing. protecting us and saving us from any future attacks. 9/11 was a day that many will not forget. just think how bad it had to be to actually witness this, and think how bad it had to of been for all the victims families to be watching all this on the news. but the prob is that most Iraqs don't feel like we do. they don't care. and we need to show them that we do. that day gave us a whole new meaning to life and America itself. it showed us that the world can change in a instant and that we always need to be prepared for the unexpected.

God Bless The U.S.A.

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And I’m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
