Daytona "Big one"

Great shootout, could have done without the caution laps, myself. Who else thinks that there will be a "big one" at Daytona? So far, it's looking likely, in my opinion. Wrecking in practice-twice; wrecks in the shoot out....a non-points race...the 500 should be interesting.

FLASH MATH, Driver Skill, and da BIG ONE, LOL

Ya know for years all I heard is how NASCAR Cup drivers are the best drivers in the World, then I got to thinking, UUhOOh. Heres something to think about.
Take for instance Daytona the tracks 2.5 miles around and the average racing surface width is 40 feet, thats 528,000 square feet. Lets say the new COT is 20 feet long and 7 feet wide ( okay I rounded off the actually dimensions cause my math is weak ) thats 140 square feet, 43 cars = 6020 square feet.
So these clowns have 521,980 square feet of unused space and they STILL RUN INTO EACH OTHER!!!

It seems that after the shootout the general consensus is that the COT runs in a pack. That being said I would believe that there is a great chance for the big one. In the last couple of years the cars got separated and in a single line, so less chance for hitting each other and the big one. Either way there is always the chance for the big one after any restart.
