When I came to this site I got a little frustrated about not being able to post pictures. Until I got help from a friend from this site. So I decided to post this thread to help the newbies out.


Go to photobucket, upload the photos you want to post, copy the IMG code and place it in the post of your choice!

By the way thanks to all the folks that gave me the help I needed!

If you wanted to post pics directly off the web:

Right click on the picture then click on [Properties] copy the [Location] url then in your post click the [insert image] icon, then paste url in the pop up box.


If I'm wrong, please somebody correct me.

mrs. thats what you think I've been here for how long and it never works for me lol, I'm gonna try again with this info (or maybe it's just me the person trying to work the computer)

I use this method a lot too, especially with pics that I really don't care to save into my computer:

The insert imagae icon is with all the edit options on the top of every reply, and it looks like an envelope. Just put your pointer over any of those icons and it will tell you what they are.

Sorry Mrs12, but you can add pics from your computer to a post without going to photobucket or another image site.

When starting or adding to a thread, type your text then scroll down to the section called "additional options". There is a box called "attach files". inside there is another box " manage attachments ".
Click on the manage attachment button, this will open up a new window. From there just follow the instructions to post a pic or a file. In your post it will not show a thumbnail, but will leave a link to click to view the pic or file.
