An Iowa man who drove his minivan into a hospital in La Crosse Wisconsin two years ago and barricaded himself in the building, pleaded no contest to felony criminal damage to property Wednesday.
Two other charges against 52-year-old Geoffrey Fitzgerald were dismissed. Records show Fitzgerald was in a rage at the time because of his claim that a doctor at the clinic refused to test him for HIV in 1988, and seven years later he tested positive for AIDS.
His malpractice lawsuit was dismissed.
Fitzgerald will be sentenced on June 23rd.

Melbourne, May 14 : A 13-year-old boy from Texas has been convicted of fraud for hiring two hookers and racking up 30,000 dollars in charges on his father's credit card, it has emerged.
According to money.co.uk, Ralph Hardy confessed to ordering an extra credit card from his dad's existing credit card company and taking his pals on a spending spree after which they ended up playing Halo on an Xbox with the hookers in a Texas motel.
The 1000 dollars -a-night prostitutes were released without charge but Ralph was given a three-year community order upon his conviction on May 9, reports news.com.au.
The prostitutes told police they grew suspicious when the kids said they'd rather play Xbox than play with them.
Authorities were alerted to the motel by a delivery clerk who, after delivering supplies of Dr Pepper, Oreos and Fritos, was asked by the kids where they could hire some escorts.
They explained they'd just won big at a World of Warcraft tournament and wanted to relax.
The delivery clerk called the police who arrived to find 3,000 dollars in cash, electronic gadgets, an Xbox console and games, plus the two prostitutes.
Ralph reportedly told the officers his dad wouldn't mind, because he'd turned 13 the previous week and he'd forgot to get him a present.
haha, would rather play xbox then play with them. Thats funny. I would be alittle suspcious about that as well.

HOUSTON -- Police in Texas said a man and woman kept the body of their baby boy in a freezer for more than a year, KPRC-TV in Houston reported.
Detectives said 28-year-old Dezmond Blake and his girlfriend, 25-year-old Crystal Sosa, had been living at InTown Suites motel in southwest Houston for more than a year. Blake called police at about 6 a.m. Friday, saying they had found a baby in the freezer.
The couple later told police that the baby was theirs and that the body had been in the freezer for a year.
Police said Blake and Sosa seemed remorseful.
Police are now trying to piece together how the baby, Devin, died.
The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office said it will wait until the body returns to room temperature before performing an autopsy.
Child Protective Services officials said the couple also has another child, a 2-year-old, who lives with relatives.
Blake and Sosa were arrested and charged with tampering with evidence. Police are waiting for the results of the autopsy to determine if other charges will be filed.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- A mother was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday for keeping her 17-year-old adopted son caged in her home.
Brenda Sullivan, accused of caging her 17-year-old son, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated child abuse.
Brenda Sullivan pleaded guilty in January to three counts of aggravated child abuse. Prosecutors agreed to drop lesser child neglect charges.
The teen weighed 49 pounds when child welfare workers found him in 2005 in what appeared to be a cage. Sullivan told a judge at the time that Ohio authorities told her to keep the boy, who had severe medical and emotional problems, in a crib.
"There's only one conclusion when you look at the medical evidence in this case, and that is that she literally starved him," prosecutor Julie Schlax said.
Two other children, 13-year-old twins the Sullivans adopted as infants, both testified they were kept in similar cages.
Sullivan's husband was also arrested, but died in January 2007 while awaiting trial.
Sullivan's lawyer, Charles Fletcher, said he didn't think prison was the right option because she does not pose a threat to society. He said they would appeal the sentence.
