Some inspection problems before qualifying: The Cup cars of #88-Dale Earnhardt Jr., #48-Jimmie Johnson and #17-Matt Kenseth were forced to go through the inspection line twice after NASCAR officials found minor violations on their cars. NASCAR officials said the problems were not serious, but the crews of the #88 Chevy, the #48 Chevy and the #17 Ford were told to correct the problems and go back through the line. All three cars were on the track for the first practice session.(ESPN.com)(3-1-2008)

Let's see if NA$CAR hands out fines and suspensions.
They did it to Robby Gordon, so lets see if they do the same here. If not then I think they should drop Robbies penalties.

you sound like jack roush and mark martin a few years back! martin said that hes tired of see the dupont car in front of him and just a few races later, they got jack roush and all of his cars for drilling out the frames of cars!!
so they all do it, just a matter of getting caught or not.
In Robbies case it was an unapproved nose piece, I am sure Chad was just working in the gray area, as well as the others and really didn't mean to cheat??

The parts on Robbies car where also caught in pre race inspections, and where never used in a race, Dodge has admitted it was a clerical error and have taken responsibilty for the mistake, so I fail to see the difference.

I thought Carl Edwards should get penalty yesterday , i dont care about the camera man , the crew has to take care of the pit area , thats is a dengerous area , in that tire was dangerous for the other drivers, if carl edwards get the penalty , the #88 get the victory in LV

Hasn't it been about three (strikes)times now?
They should just get rid of Knaus already!
I hope I'm not the only one who will agree and say he won't be missed.
