I am new to the forum. I have not followed Nascar very closely in recent years. I ten to like road racing more, not that I follow that supper closely either, But I do some photography at the local tracks. This past weekend I scored a ticket for the Saturday 22, Toyota Savemart 350 race at Infinion Raceway, here in Northern California. I shot all of the practices and in the afternoon I shot 64 lap race. Well, I am a bit confused about what class this actually was. At first i thought this was the the regular Nascar race, but then figured it must have been class a step down from the big boys? Can anybody straighten me out, the structure of the different classes?
I am glad to post a link to the my photos if anyone is interested, I just did not want to break any forum rules being a new guy.
Thanks for the info on the series. Am I accurate that this series is one step down from the sprint series?
The race was great! very Gritty racing! I was on this corner, and saw most of the #42 crash. It looked a lot worse from my vantage point! I caught most of it with my camera as well as 3 or 4 other spinouts/crashes. it really was an exciting race.
It's actually a couple of steps down. You have the Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series, Craftsman Truck, Camping West, and so forth

How many races has Jimmie won? Oh one, that's right he's having a tough year this year. How many top tens???? hmmmmm.....I believe I will take your advice and savour the win!
