Ok lets play a game remember when....This oughta be funny post 3 things you remember from your childhood that either do not exsist now or have changed so radically that youd look like you had 2 heads to this generation if you did it.

1. I would have never raised my voice, curssed at, or talked back to my parents...or any other athority figure even if they were wrong.

2. It was actually the norm to be a 16-17 year old virgin..Even though the 2 biggest things girls had to worrie about were Herpies(bad enough) or pregnancy..

3.A joystick and lil red button was all you needed to play a video game. Now you have to be coordinated, and abidextrious, (not sure if I spelled that right)hooked on phonics

waded and swam in the creek...often refered ot now as a drainage ditch full of sewer water now!


rode in the back of the pickup truck on trips in excess of 100 miles as a kid! unheard of now? no car seat? oh my!



actually played outside as a kid.. video games? what is that? heck I did not get an atari pong game till I was in middle school! survived with only about 8 matchbox cars...omg my kids have 8 18 gallon totes full!

1. I was hot stuff on my single-speed Schwinn with banana seat, sissy bar, rear slick tire and baseball card in the wheel spokes.
2. Remember telephone party-lines and operators?
3. The first TV remote control I saw was wired with ~20 ft. cord and a dial knob to change channels - no volume control.

Befor cable I remember only having 3 chanles we took turns sometimes holding the rabbit ears on the tv.

How about when families sat down to dinner and Fast food was for a special occasion (like a great report card.

Or when the teacher could paddle you for being a brat take you to the pricipal for a whoopin then when your parents got there you got it again.

Smoke, "16-17 year old virgin?" I had already been in and out of the service before gettin' lucky. Who wanted to date when you could spend Saturday night with friends putting Hooker Headers and Purple Hornies on your coupe so you could go blow some out of town hotshot's doors off later in the evening and win some extree cash?

1. It was considered a treat to be allowed to drink an entire bottle of soda on a Saturday night!

2. My mama always wondered why she kept runnin' outa bleach midweek. I was sneekin half a jug and doin' bleach burnouts! I finally fessed up to stealin' her bleach but only after I got hitched. Remember cuttin' a switch?

3. Playing flashlight tag and sleeping out (no it had nothing to do with sex) with your friends! Remember waking up in the middle of the night and putting your friend's hand in a bowl of hot water just to see if they would pee their britches? By the way, has anyone ever peed their britches?

I have two drive in's with in 30 minutes of me

1. I could play outside with out my parents worrying I was gonna get stolen

2. I could leave my bike in the yard overnight without worrying it would be stolen
