We all know summer is coming up, and many will be taking vacations. So I thought we should have a topic about some places u all have gone to that others should have the same experience.

Some of the places I have gone to that I loved are...(Cali)We went to SF and it was a nice place. The weather was great, not to hot, and not to cold. We actually didnt stay in sf which is what I would recomend. (West Virginia)That was a nice place as well. Right on the east coast. SOmething very cool about that is the underwater tunnel. U ride underwater for about 3-4 miles. Again, very nice weather. And if u like the cold stuff, try going up to Wisconsin. We did that for a week, and it was nice. I just hope u dont want to go swimming...We went during spring break, and all the water parks were closed. The swimming pool at our resort was a snow pool. But if u go to Wisconsindell, then that is a nice place. They have many indoor stuff as well.

Srry...but I left out the most important. If u wanna go to a track (without all the smoke) then try going to Bristol. That might have been about the calmest crowd u could ever think of. No trash throwing, no smoke, Just a nice place to go with the family. The only time they got even alittle angry was when stewart spun the leader...but that is not what this thread is about. If u are ever gonna go to the track, try staying in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. 2 very great towns, with many shows, and many mini golfs. the only bad thing was that the nascar cafe was for sale, so we couldnt eat their.

Well when I was 9 years old I drove all the way to Utah and back with my parents, so I guess that was a vacation but it wasn't fun for me and I didn't want to go in the first place.

That is a long drive. It wasnt fun??? I love roadtrips...take a mp3 or something, listen to it, and look at all the great sights. That is what I always do, and i have a good time.

Went to St. Louis a couple years ago this time of year. Very beautiful weather and stuff to do there was cheap. All very cool: the Arch (you actually go inside to the top), their botantical gardens were so beautiful ( Missouri Botanical Garden ), the zoo was free, Grant's farm (ancestrial farm of the Anheuser Busch family, got all sorts of crazy animals in the middle of Missouri - ( Welcome to Grant's Farm ) was free and really cool, touring the Anheuser Busch factory. And another really cool place nearby, just over the Mississippi (which was cool for me to see too) is a place called Cahokia (Cahokia Mounds Home Page) which was occupied by prehistoric Indians and they build huge mounds, you can climb one that's 100 feet tall. All in all a very awesome vacation recommended for all ages.

Yes, that is a very nice thing. And another cool thing about the arch is that it is almost right above the baseball field (Cardinals), and u can go up in the arc, and get a skyl view of the game.

For my honeymoon we stayed in a cabin in Dillard, GA then drove all through the smoky mountains national park for a fews days and did many cool hikes. It was very nice. We spent a day in Gatlinburg too. Us Floridians don't get to see the mountains often. Plus it was in Jan and it snowed so we had lots of awesome sights to see. Maybe I can talk my husband into going again and sneaking the Bristol race in there too hehehe. Never thought about just staying around there to go Bristol. Thanks for the thought Gordonfan!
