I have 3 suggestions. I know advertising isn't allowed here, but I think this would be fair to allow advertising. I have seen alot of other forums do this, and it has been a success. For people to advertise, they would need 50-100 posts, around that area. I think it's fair because you have to contribute in order to advertise your site. I would also like this to be in effect with selling, as this would stop alot of the members just joining and trying to sell something.

I think we need a up to date stats section, with a bio of the driver. We would put the stats and the bio under each driver in the Nextel Cup Driver's section under each driver's section.

And my 3rd suggestion is a live standings page. I noticed last year we hardly updated the standings until the last race. I think we should keep it updated all the time, and a live standings page would do that.

What do you think NS?

Another suggestion. I think we should put a warning system in place. For example, you could give warnings for spam, etc, and if they get 3 warnings then they get banned. I think it's kinda unfair that new members join, yet they get banned for something they could learn from and not do it again. And if we have the post limit for advertising and selling like I said above, then we wouldn't have a problem of people just joining to advertise or cell something. But you can still warn them if they break the forum rules. It will be much more organized with a warning system.

Hey Dark.... All great sugestions. And thanks for the link to the picks section. That is exactly what I like, but not for one race....the entire season.....Craftsman, Busch and Nextel combined. It is realy fun once you get into it it is amazing how your mind just wants to think of "how can I come up with ways to make these pics." To be honest....It takes me the better half of the week to crunch all the numbers to make my pics.....But I am absesive compulsive LOL.

The part about links is a good idea....but for people who have proved they realy want to be a part of THIS comunity. Not those who take five minutes to fill out the aplication.....post a link then we never hear from them again. I would love to promote my site here.....but thats not why I am here. I am here to make connections with NASCAR fans and have fun.


A stats section is realy good idea.... It does take a little bit of time.... But I am sure if moderators asked for volunteers to help in this field they would be amazed at how many people offer to help. I for one would help in any way needed.

A warning system is good. If someone does join and posts spam....weither it be link to there web site or a blatent SPAM can we not put that post on moderation so no one sees it and email that person to say "hey this is a no-no and you need to contact me before you are able to post again"?

I hope you all dont mind me putting in my two cents....but this is the suggestions link right? LOL Just picking on ya guys. Love the site and realy enjoy all you have here.

We do it for the whole season yes. I just posted a race to show you how it works. What we do is if you pick 1st right, you get a certain amount of points put in your bank, and so forth.

I noticed that our gallery can also be viewed by guests. I am not very comfortable with this, and I know a few others that aren't. So my suggestion is in order to view the gallery, you must be a member.

I have tried everything but I just don't get it. Can I get some help with what I'm callING NASCARSPACE FOR DUMMIES LIKE ME? LOL Thanks
