Talladega Saturday Night

Anyone heading to Talladega? We're looking for somewhere to hang out Saturday night. Instead of hitting the local hotel bar we figured we'd head to the track. I've heard that there is usually lots going on there. Not sure where to go, though.

well lets c :there is turn 1 reserved camp sites sat nite good party spot.trun 2also a good party spot . as well as turns 3&4.if u r in the in field good luck thats been cleaned up 4 bout 3 years now ,but some of the drivers will ride around on golf carts and meet the fans ,or u can go over to the dirt track thats up the road and see more of the drivers there .they have famliy camping (no beer & stuff) allowed in there.if u can the party dosen't stop at midnight ether !!!it also depends on where you are camped ,just walk around you'll find the partys. have a good time be safe and oh yeah the police there are very nice and lots of them 2 out of 3 cars will be a police.so have fun enjoy and take lots of asprins also have a free camping area but thats first come first serve.also at montana slaoon &gill you might bump into a driver or 2 (its the only "bar"for miles in any direction )threre is a gas/beer store about a half mile east of the track.

Hey Smokin'

I don't know if any of this info will help you out, but I kept running into all sorts of press releases for this race, so I collected them in a thread. I was hoping that it might be useful to someone!

Talladega Superspeedway - Spring Race Info

Enjoy the race and please do tell us about it. Oh, and we love pics, too! ~LOL~ I hope that Tony Stewart puts on a good race for you!

Hey Jane JR..

I am about half-way between Huntsville and Birmingham, So we are just about 90mins away from the track...We usually get up early on Sunday morning and get to the track with no problem. Back roads are great...
