My daily driver is an 89 GMC Jimmy 4x4.
My summer fun car is a 97 turbo'd v6 Camaro RS.
My wife's daily(and family cruiser) is an 03 Monte Carlo SS.
My wife's fun car is an 84 383 stroked Camaro Z28.
the 383 stroker is a good motor.....i had it in my Monte a few yrs ago, but now i'm on my 6th motor....502c.i. big block, the 383 was my 4th motor, lol
i still have my 383, but its been re-worked/built and punched out, it makes some good power now...but i'm just not ready to put it back in the car yet, cant seem to be able to give up the torque my big block gives me

nah...they're just never fast enough for me, except for the first couple low-budget motors i had...
1. stock 305 -- header install after 70k, blown motor
2. 305 from IROC -- blown up after 6k miles
3. 350 -- very mild build, not fast enough
4. 383 stroker -- rebuild of motor #3 (now rebuilt again with bigger bore and stroke)
5. 396 -- full build, not enough torque
6. 502 -- fully built, aluminum heads, steel crank, compression too high for the street, 1050 cfm demon dominator, 250 shot NOS Snipper kit, Jet-Hot coated Hooker Headers, MSD ignition, coil, wires, etc., chipped right now for a 7500rpm redline, hopefully capable of 8500-9000
