Question First Time to Vegas

I've been to NASCAR races at Phoenix and California.
I've been to Las Vegas before.
This will be my first time at a race in Vegas. Any pointers?

What do you think of the CAT? Better than driving?
What do you think about the Neon Garage? Good photo ops?
Any other tips would be much appreciated...

Best Place to Sit at Homestead?

I'm considering going to see my first NASCAR (live) race at Homestead, but have no idea where to get seats. Other than find someone to invite me to a private box, where is the best place to sit?

TIA for any responses.

Having never been to Homestead, I can't give you a specific location to sit, but I have found that you do want to be high enough to be able to see the entire track.
You might want to check out these threads for specifics about Homestead.

If any of our members who have been to Homestead can help it would be most appreciated!

As long as you get seats higher than rows 20 in the front stretch stands you,ll have a good veiw of almost the entire track and the pits.
Dont get tickets in the stands entering turn one the site lines are not good at all. Get to the track early and have a good time.

Advice for The Glen

Tickets arent cheap here, it only cost me $50 to go to Pocono, granted we sat pretty low but still, I thought it was awesome.
Anyways I am contemplating getting a "Cold Pits" pass and going down there on like a Friday for qualifying, or prior to the race on Sunday.
I was wondering:
Whats it like down there?
Can you get drive autographs? or are you not close enough.
Thanks

Hi...

I've heard that going for a high seat is better than picking out a specific spot on the track. Have a nice trip.
