Hello all,

This is my first post on this site. I am on several other site, but thought I would try this one.

We are getting ready to go to Dover for the truck race on Friday. We love to go Friday, see trucks, cup and nationwide, plus we can park on the pavement. We sit right where the cars come out of the cup garage, so we can see evrything. I get to my seat at 9 am and do leave till the race is over. There is a very clean bathroom right there, so I just love it. My husband sleeps in the truck, while I sit in the stands. He comes out every now and again to make sure I food and drink.

went to Michigan to watch (I still call it the Busch race)

I've heard other tracks promoting discounts/specials on tickets and or package deals...like at Charlotte tickets/vendors for food and hotel etc....some friends of ours is going to Lowe's and they got super ticket prices for 3 days of racing.....Michigan on the other hand...still the same....the only thing that I seen that was giving the average Joe a break was the vendors/trailers for the teams...discounts or special buys on combo. packages of Merch....the tickets and the food prices were still the same....no help there for those of us that would've or could've used a little help....our gas prices were still around $3.89 a gallon and up in our area of the country. I still would like to see a nascar race some day at Michigan...but for now I can only afford to watch the Busch race. It's only going to get worst.....because in Michigan and Ohio and Indiana we are seeing more jobs being lost....more homes being foreclosed etc., If you want people to come and watch Nascar, more tracks like Charlotte (Lowe's) are going to have to step it up.... I've been to Lowe's once and would love to go back again someday and if he keeps doing what he's trying to do for the Nascar fan...When I able to go to a Nascar race, I'll be going there before going to another track that isn't willing to help us out....Lowe's Thanks for thinking of the working class/Nascar fans....Our hats are off to you...
