Hi guys!
I've been to Watkins Glen on August.
For those who never heard about me, I'm 25 years-old and I'm from Italy.
This summer I spent my holiday in New York. It was the first time in the United States and let me tell you I had such a great time!
Since I was there, I decided to see a Nascar race, and Watkins Glen International wasn’t so far.
With the help of NascarSpace I made this possible (thanks again).
The closest hotel that I found was in Cortland (about 1 hour from Watkins Glen).
Cortland is a wonderful place! Very quite and very beautiful.
Plus the people are amazing (I just want to say thanks to the people I met at “Dark Horse Tavern” for the great time).
I hope to go back there one day.
What can I say about the race? Wonderful!
I saw also the Bush Series on Saturday, it was cool too.
The most beautiful thing is that you can go everywhere inside the track before the race. This is cool because you can meet such funny people!
And you can't even imagine how fun it is to see a live race with other people, and hear all their the comments during the race. Nothing compares to that!
Just one think: be carefull with the beer (if you have to drive).

At the end of Bush race, the cops didn't want to let me to drive because they thought I was drunk (which I wasn't).
Fortunately at the end it turned out that I wasn't drunk and they let me use the car! It was funny.
There wasn't so much traffic on Saturday.
But on Sunday, after the race, my God! 3 hours and a half to come back to Cortland! There was a time I thought I'd never reached my hotel!
Almoust forgot: I posted some pictures in the Nascar Gallery (in the User's Gallery).
Tell me what do you think.
See you!
