I have been to Kansas Speedway a few times and am going back at the end of Sept. Actually there it dosn't matter where your seats are, you can see the whole track from every seat. That's the way they designed KC. I've had fan walk tickets and got to go to the pits the year before last.
Anyone want me to send a few pics?? I have a couple Jr. pics from trackside live,,,good face shots. Also have a good Jeffy pit pic, and Newman doing autograph as well as Burton to name a few. If interested my email is.............
put pics on the subject line and let me know who you like and I'll send you some pics. (if I have that driver) if not I'll just send general pics.

Dover was awesome!!!

My 2nd race, and man what a race! Every time they restarted I was on my feet, too excited to sit still. I'm going to buy my tickets for next year's cup race as soon as they're on sale.

I couldn't not believe all the action right at the end. Everyone was getting so uptight jockeying for position that I could tell that something was going to happen. I'm a #8 fan, but I like the 99, 01, 16, 17 and a handful of others too. It was pretty awesome to see some of my favorites all fighting for the lead while Junior was working his way back to the lead lap.

I have to admit that during that loooooooooong green flag run I was getting bored and dizzy and couldn't figure out who the heck was where. I'd find the leader, and then 6 cars back would be the 2nd place guy. Without the FanView I would never have figured out who was where.

Interesting note: the FanView has a 3 second delay, and the scoring tower has a delay of at least half a lap.

Watkins Glen 2007

Hi guys!
I've been to Watkins Glen on August.
For those who never heard about me, I'm 25 years-old and I'm from Italy.

This summer I spent my holiday in New York. It was the first time in the United States and let me tell you I had such a great time!

Since I was there, I decided to see a Nascar race, and Watkins Glen International wasn’t so far.
With the help of NascarSpace I made this possible (thanks again).

The closest hotel that I found was in Cortland (about 1 hour from Watkins Glen).
Cortland is a wonderful place! Very quite and very beautiful.
Plus the people are amazing (I just want to say thanks to the people I met at “Dark Horse Tavern” for the great time).
I hope to go back there one day.

What can I say about the race? Wonderful!
I saw also the Bush Series on Saturday, it was cool too.
The most beautiful thing is that you can go everywhere inside the track before the race. This is cool because you can meet such funny people!

And you can't even imagine how fun it is to see a live race with other people, and hear all their the comments during the race. Nothing compares to that!

Just one think: be carefull with the beer (if you have to drive).
At the end of Bush race, the cops didn't want to let me to drive because they thought I was drunk (which I wasn't).
Fortunately at the end it turned out that I wasn't drunk and they let me use the car! It was funny.

There wasn't so much traffic on Saturday.
But on Sunday, after the race, my God! 3 hours and a half to come back to Cortland! There was a time I thought I'd never reached my hotel!

Almoust forgot: I posted some pictures in the Nascar Gallery (in the User's Gallery).
Tell me what do you think.

See you!

If this was the 1950's, Jeff Gordon would be Pat Boone and Dale Jr. would be Elvis....both were great singers, but we know who had the most fans.

Talking Thanks DRIV3R!!

Very nice DRIV3R!! I just love the sound of the cars on the track!

Did you know that you can also upload pics into the Gallery here? My race pics from Atlanta are too big to do this with, but I am slowly resizing them to put them there. I took over 280 pics, and videoed all of Ryan's pit stops!! Posting a pic in the Gallery also give a post count.

Thanks for sharing this with us. YOU ROCK!!

Our Atlanta weekend

My husband and I had a great time this weekend in Atlanta despite the finish. We had the 3 day pit pass. This was our first time doing this. I narrowly missed walking into Kurt Bush and his wife as he was walking to pit road Friday night. We sat on a wall under the ESPN studio which gave us a good view of the drivers as they went to their cars. Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart walked out at the same time. Fans flocked to Gordon which let Stewart go to the car without being stopped. Junior came out late on a cart and jumped out before anyone could get to him.

Saturday we stood across from the gas pumps. The 9, 19, 29, and 38 were constantly coming back to get gas. I took bunch of pictures. My husband was saying that I must have pictures of every car. (Well, almost!)

Sunday in the pits was my least favorite because I like to see and hear the cars going in and out. Plus there are way more people there on Sunday which makes it difficult to get around.

I was really worried about traffic after hearing horror stories, but traffic was not an issue. We parked in the front each day so it was easy to go back to the car when we needed. Our seats were in the Winners chairbacks which had a great view of the front stretch and exit of pit road.
I'm ready to go back. My husband still insist on 1 race a year.
I posted a few of the pictures in the gallery.

Glad you had a great time!!! It was a great race despite the final restart fiasco and the fuel/water issues. The new road going from the Speedway back out to I-75 really helps the traffic flow, tons better than in years past anyway.
