It was unacceptable that Biffle's girlfriend went over
to Burch's pit to address her opinion to Burch's
girlfriend of what happend on the track between the
two drivers. What goes on the track is between the
drivers and has nothing to do with the girlfriends or
wives. The truth of what happened on the track is
only known between the drivers and what you see on
TV looks different than what really happened.
NASCAR needs to take action and address
Nicole's actions and if that means fining Biffle, so be it.
The media does not need to cover such trash.
People need to understand that NASCAR is
big business and does not have time for such display of poor
sportsmanship.
I one 100% agree, they are nothing and nobodies. Most are gold diggers there just to be a driver's girlfriend. I have first hand knowledge of this and what goes on related to the women who come to charlotte seeking drivers and crew.
Enough is enough with interviewing them showing them on tv, and now this. They have NO PLACE at all beong on tv or having anything to do with Nascar and racing.

Why if she is a gold digger Busch cost her man thousands of dollars by flat out wrecking him on the straight-away. Think how many people Busch has has problems with in the last 4 weeks (Harvick, Burton, Biffle) Nascar needs to settle him down!!!

Uhhh yeah but it has NOTHING to do with her.. she should not even be there to have access to other drivers or their pits.. she's not racing.. she has no job there she's his girl.. that's it. Because Busch pissed you off do you have the right to storm over to his pit box, what if you even know Biffle? Give me a break he happens to be dating her, they come and they go... SHE has no right nor does any other girlfriend. Not only that but it's also a distraction, and unprofessional..

From the racing and safety perspective... i have to agree... they shouldn't be cat fighting on pit road... then again... neither should the pit crews... However... even i have to admit that it's rare enough these days to see a female that is willing to stand by her man. Wrong or right (and it WAS more wrong than right...) she stood up for what she felt ... next time though... they should just duke it out at the hair salon....

Biffle's girlfriend reprimanded for incident
By Jenna Fryer, The Associated Press

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) -- Greg Biffle's girlfriend faces a reprimand from NASCAR about her pit-road confrontation with Kurt Busch's fiance after the two drivers wrecked at Texas Motor Speedway.
Busch hit the back of Biffle's car early in Sunday's race, causing an accident that ended Biffle's day. Biffle, the defending race winner, had led 49 of the first 82 laps before the crash and wound up 42nd.
Moments after the wreck, TV cameras caught girlfriend Nicole Lunders slamming a water bottle on Biffle's pit box. She then marched down pit road and climbed halfway up Busch's box and had a heated exchange with Eva Bryan. The brief confrontation created a buzz in NASCAR, and the sanctioning body wants to cool down the emotions.
"There will be some conversations that will be had with the people that participated, and we'll make sure that this doesn't carry on and into the garage or anywhere else," Robin Pemberton, vice president of competition, said Wednesday. "You've got to remember, most everybody in the garage area is friends, and those two girls in particular have a close relationship. Tempers flare, and we'll look at that and we'll make sure it doesn't carry on any further than that."
Biffle and Busch spent three seasons as Cup teammates at Roush Racing and had a friendly relationship that often put their girlfriends in the same social settings. Both drivers were testing at Richmond International Raceway on Wednesday and not immediately available for comment.
NASCAR does not have a steadfast rule against team members entering other pit boxes, but generally frowns upon it if the reason for approaching the area stems from something that happened in a race.
"When altercations and things like that happen, we recommend that you stay in your own area," Pemberton said. "You can go have a conversation, but it can't be heated per se."
Family members are typically given entrance to the track on a "license" that recognizes them as a team member, meaning their actions can be policed by NASCAR and the sanctioning body reserves the right to revoke their pass at any time.
Lowe's Motor Speedway president Humpy Wheeler said wives and girlfriends had a stormy history during NASCAR's early days, and many have been thrown out of tracks because of their behavior.
"That kind of stuff was common back in the old days, everybody was fighting back then, especially the women," Wheeler said. "But there wasn't the TV coverage we have today, so it wasn't that big of a deal."

First off, I thought it was funny as hell. Made for good TV too. I don't agree with what she did but, you can't say you wouldn't have done the same thing had you been in her shoes. Gold diggers, blah, blah, blah. You don't know her, don't judge her. Maybe she just has as much "passion" about racing as her boyfriend and got irritated. As I stated, I didn't agree with it but, you would have to be in her shoes and have it happen to you to really know what's going on in her head. You either agree with what she did or you don't. No use in discussing the other aspects of the situation.
