I don't think it's Goodyear as much as Nascar itself for not doing enough testing on this track, knowing that it eats up tires, with the new car. They came TOTALLY unprepared this weekend and it was embarrassing to see the heads of Nascar coming on TV trying to explain away why they totally missed the mark....

BOOB = Nascar!

add the george family to that..they own the brickyard and much of indiana... they were explaining part of the problem, they use a diamond cutter to resurface the track so that the drivers have a better feel for the track.. seems as if the track was the problem, they have had these problems in the past, not as bad, and the track came in when enough rubber was laid on the track....not the case today... what a disgrace.... yet another reason daytona is the better track.. am sure ya all are gonna call for yokohama tires for next year....

^ Lol, lol, lol....

I think there is plenty of blame to go around this weekend. Nascar - for not doing a full test with the new car, and tires Goodyear wanted to bring.
Goodyear - for making such a crappy tire for this track and car. Espn - for losing coverage throughout the race. It was bad enough to watch this race for sure, but the black screen really didn't help any either.

That race was such a joke that it's not even worth talking about all the things that went wrong.
