Until recently, I had no favorite driver in nascar. Not since I was a Earnhardt Sr. fan until 2001. After his death, I stopped watching for a while. For some reason I bought into the idea that Dale Jr. was a spoiled overrated driver. Now that I have got back into it over the last couple of years, I see that he is a good guy, and a very good driver. I feel for him the way he has to put up with the comparisons with his father, and the losing streak, which if not for bad luck, and drivers not knowing how to control their car enough to not wreck him when he is leading with 2 or 3 laps to go would be history already.
He runs well everywhere! He runs in the top 5 just about every week, and he will win races this year. He is hated on unfairly for the attention he gets, when he is the most popular driver and he is a threat to win every week. U people have convinced me through your hate, that there is no driver that deserves my support more than Jr. Count me in Jr. nation!
Who's hating on Jr. here? I personally love this site because it's not over run with Jr. fans. I like Jr. well enough, never really disliked him, but man a mojority of his fans out there are horrible. You have to agree with that if you've ever been to race. They come out from the wood work. I'm glad you found a driver now erichwv, but I'm surprised you said it's because of our hate. Good luck.

... yeah, what Hate has been directed toward Jr.? I can't recall I've ever heard a bad word against the guy on this site... there are plenty of drivers that get "hate" here, but not Jr...

But, I've gotta say.....I'm confused by your comments as well.
Though Ryan N is my favorite driver. I support many, many, many drivers. Jr. being one of them. No hate here!

Not even Kyle gets Hated on here! You need to look at other sites where drivers are really bashed!
We mildly have our favs and no so favs, but we don't bash.
Actually I go through periods of dislike with a lot of drivers, but not hate.
How can you hate someone who has none nothing personally to you?

Let me clarify my comments. I apologize for making it seem like I was singling out this site. I did not intend to. I have seen and heard it all from Nascar fans when it comes to hating on Jr. I believe I have read some ridiculous things on this site as well. Such as, Jr. is a "below average driver" I just don't know how u could come to that conclusion. Yes, he has far more fans than any other driver, and I know that can get on peoples nerves when they come to the race wearing Dale Jr. hats and shirts, scream and holler for Jr. and know nothing about racing. It bothers me too. However, I believe people often take their frustration with his fake fans out on him by making negative statements about his driving ability. Again, I don't mean everyone here is a Jr. basher, but there are lots of them out there, and their reasons for their feelings are for the most part ridiculous, and it made me wanna pull for the guy. That's all.
Erichwv, I sorta know what you mean by the fake Junior fans, the ones who get real rowdy and the ones who used to throw beer cans at Gordon and believe that Jr. is god or something. But I've only seen a few times on this site where some people have said they hate Junior but they were new to this site and probably didn't know that we don't bash drivers here like people do on other sites. I for one don't hate any driver in busch,truck or cup. I do dislike a few but I don't hate them. That's why I love this site so much, there's no driver bashing or really mean people like on other sites.

I agree....their is no hate towards any drivers here...including Jr and Kyle. Their are though...opinions...but no one hates any drivers. Sometimes we dissagree with what they do and how they act, cough cough, Kyle Busch, lol but we dont hate them. it takes alot of talent to race NASCAR so it is hard to hate someone with that much tallent./
