As for the 2nd in points arguement........Daytona, should have pitted. Even DEJ said his communication is too slow. Finished 8th, easy top 5. Call it 15 points there. Texas, won pole, led 31 laps, struggled, YES struggled with handling issues, one lap down in 12th. Loudon, so-so car, pitting KNOWING the rain was coming, got clocked by McMurray. Why pit? Chicago, couldn't make the car better. That's just a few. There is a recurring theme of the car starting decent and either fading or staying the same while everyone else makes gains.
Even in 2nd place in points, there could be another win or two in there, as sell as a few better finishes worth who knows how many points. One win vs Kyle's 7 = a 60 point lead to Kyle with a couple other drivers ahead (Cousin Carl has 3, that's 30 points there).
