I believe so. Points are what matters in the end. Yeah, wins make the team, driver, sponsors happier but, in the end, it all comes down to points. Would you rather have 10 wins and be second in points at the end of the year or be the Cup Champion and only have 3 wins, 6 top 5's, and 4 top 10's. I don't know if that adds up but, you get the point.
