looked on nascar's website, they have a video of what went on. Gordon bumped Kenseth, Kenseth bumped Gordon. Gordon spun around. Kenseth went right after the race to apologize. Gordon pushed him. Everyone is friends again today.
IMO - Gordons a real tough guy when his helmets on... In the after "fight" interview he was a softy about it.

Yeah.. I agree he had his helmet on.. but I was indeed surprised that gordon had a little power in him on the push.. Kenseth did look worried though and yeah they are ok now from what I understand. In an interview after the fact Kenseth stated Gordon had a right to be mad, and the rob should have waited just a little longer before he came right over.
Gordon was not a "softy" about it. He was being professional and classy. After he had time to cool off, he knew what he had to do. He has a great mind for the business. And the fact that he didn't take his helmet off only shows me how fast he wanted to get over there to Kenseth. Have you ever been in a fight? Well I have, and believe me, I did not take the time to put my hair up in a ponytail or take my earrings off. You get pissed and you go for it.
gordon used common sense... he was wearing a helmet incase he fought back.. ALSO kenseth went right over to him.. dumb move.. he didn't have time to take off the helmet

Some how I missed this original post and came upon it today as I was looking for something else. LOL fan26, oh jeffy had time to take off the helmet before he got out of the car! But he didn't! Why? Because it goes to his character, you have to admit that jeffy is not a "manly man." A wimp hears his helmet as security to act "tough". Notice that Matt didn't bother to keep his on, Matt had no intent to fight. As many have said when this incident was new, gordon had every intention of picking a fight when he saw Matt there, and kept the helmet on just in case Matt fought back! Wow, ain't gordon the "big man"! jeffy's actions here are very pathetic IMHO! No jill48 I would not say that his actions were "professional" or "classy" at all!
So who would win in a fight? My money would have to be on Matt, if nothing else he would have the nerve to not wear his helmet!
Now here is a new scenario for the same question:
If Tony and Carl were to get int a fight, who would win?
Hands down I say Carl!!! Have you seen the bod that man has underneath the fire suit? Tony has eaten way too much pizza before the races to even be a threat to Carl!
So what do y'all think?

I am so with you about the Tony/Carl thing. I saw his picture on the front on the magazine he did, and man is he buff!!! Washboard abs, and nice chest too!!! Tony is turning into a little piggy. He must be "carbo loading" way too much. Hey Tony, have you ever tried Weight Watchers?
