Talking Tell me tell me!!!

The Queen would like to avail herself of the vast knowledge here at Nascar Space. I am still trying to pick a driver. I would like to know from all you Nascar addicts how and why you picked your favorite driver. Tell me right down to how you felt the moment you knew. Kind of like falling in love, isn't it? So what made you fall in love with your driver?

I like chubby dudes. Makes me feel more comfortable in my own chubby body.

In all seriousness, I loved Tony's fiery personality, which happens to be why many people hate him. He's an amazing driver that can drive the wheels off ANYTHING. I can't really pinpoint the moment in time that I picked him. I didn't really keep up with NASCAR much until a few years ago. Back when I was more of a casual fan (ie: didn't know much of anything about NASCAR, just watched it every now and then), I went for Dale Sr. Tony became my second favorite because of his ability and attitude. Once Sr died, I was left with just Tony. Jr was my third pick just because he drove the Budweiser car (I don't care what y'all think about my reasoning, that was my BEER! lol), and it turned out he has a very likable personality himself, so I kept him on my favorites list.

When picking a driver, you can pick them for whatever reason you see fit. Maybe you like the colors of the car, maybe you like the number, maybe you like the sponsor, maybe you like their personality, maybe you think they're HAWT, or maybe you see that they have an incredible ability. There's no wrong way to pick a driver......just don't pick JJ, Gordon, or Mears, your mom would have a fit!!! You'll find one you like soon enough, and there's plenty of room in the Tony camp for ya!

Hey! You were right! My mom says if I pick Mears (liar as she puts it) she's gonna disown me!! Can't have that! And who wants a liar?.......
And Gordon is just too nasaly when he talks, it bothers me. And Jimmie Johnson made me mad in Atlanta!! I was there. I saw it! Tony Stewart should have won that race! You are right, he can drive! He's still on my list of possibles. And man is he HI-ZOT in person!!! WOOT WOOT!! He WAS my mother's first pick for my Nascar husband......but then he went and cheated on me! I could forgive him if he begged.

I 1st went with Dale Sr because my favorite number is 3 and thats how it all started, but after he past I went with the 8 Dale Jr because I love budweiser I'm more for the bud car than Jr but he goes along with the car so i'm a 8 car fan. But if I was going to pick a driver because he's hot I would have to go with Ricky Rudd now thats 1 fine man, whoa don't make my mind go there LOL, what I could do to that man, woops there's young guns here LOL, There's alot of great drivers out there just go with the 1 you feel you have something in common with that's the best way. Good luck with finding your driver, looking forward to seeing who you pick Queen, take your time it's no fun changing your mind, but you don't have to go with just 1 guy you can have a whole stable full LOL. I'll be looking for your post Good Luck.

When I started watching Nascar racing in 2004 I picked Jr. to be my driver right then and there, I really don't know why becasue at the time I knew nothing about racing or Jr. but after a while I learned more about the Earnhardts. I really like down to earth people and people that don't think there better then you so that's why I picked Jr. He is very down to earth and I like his old school driving style and personality. I know alot of people (Not on this site) hate it when they see a E fan or they think sense I'm a girl I picked him just becasue he's hot but just to set the record straight I didn't pick him because he's hot but I'm not saying he's not hot...lol. Anyways that's why I picked my driver. I also like Tony Stewart to. Hope you find the right driver soon queen

Haha, yeah she's puts it in caps every time Mears is mentioned...LIAR! lmao I know she means it when she does that! I've never seen Tony in person, I'm jealous! He did go cheat on you, I'm sorry. But hey, his mistress was cheating herself so the cheating just goes all around I guess!

Jane: I picked Sr too because of the number 3. I had this crazy OCD when I was little where I had to do everything in threes....flipping the light switch, taking drinks, eating candy, shutting the door, etc. When I first saw a race on tv way back then, I went for him solely because of that. Good thing I didn't have OCD with a number of some mediocre driver!
