Thoughts on COT

Well we now have had 2 races with the new COT.
So do you like it or not??

In my opinion I'm still undecided on it, but willing to give it a chance
Maybe once NA$CAR works out all the bugs it may be a good car.
Will have to see what happens at tracks other than Martinsville or Bristol

I really like the COT. I think they are pretty neat looking. Doesn't even out the field yet because big companies still have an advantage over little companies but I think eventually be even out and the races will have different winners.

I like the concept of improving safety and making better racing, but i'm on the fence as to whether this car will accomlish either. I dont' think NASCAR has gone about it right. Not enough testing prior to race conditions and not enough driver input have led to some problems and complaining early on.

I hope they are attentive to driver comments and prepared to affect change to make improvments.

Other than the fumes created by the installation smoking and the fuel pump cable failure I like it. Fix those problems and I like it...a lot.

It's an okay car. It would be better if they figured out the fuel pump problems and why the foam in the side of the door is catching on fire.

I like the COT. I love the looks of them and more safety is always good. I think they will make for better racing because you can't lift a car by bumping it. The problems are small and easily fixed.

I laugh at the drivers that complain it does not handle as well as the old car, it wasn't supposed to. If Kyle thinks it sucks just think how it compares to the F-1 cars Juan has driven. Everyone drives the same car, it is what it is till crews and drivers improve it.

I,m a little UPSET over the fuel pump cable failures and "Safety Insulation" fires/smoke because theve taken at least three cars out of contention in the past two weeks.
My biggest concern so far though is it sure doesent seem like the COT has evened out the competition like I had hoped it would? Sure I like seeing my Chevys WIN but dang the Dodge/Ford/Toyota guys are getting slaughtered out there.

Question Do you like the COT?

I think that the changes in the COT have evened the racing field. Not only are the drivers uninformed, but the tracks, pit crews and fans are all at the same level.
Some of the safety issues that have surfaced in the past two races definately need to be fixed before the next race, but I believe that after all of the break-in races, it will be better for everyone.
