Hey Rock! Smoke is right. Just because we don't like Jeff doesn't mean you need to hate on us! Jeff is just one of those drivers you love to hate! I love Tony Stewart but he is not perfect like Jeff either! Just relax and have a beer. When you post a new thread people don't have to agree with you either. No disrespect Rock but people can voice their opinion this is America! I can't explain why I hate him I just do. Whenever I'm at the track I boo him, can't help it I just don't have a good reason for you!
You guys think I'm soooooooooo serious. I'm not. I was just making a comedic point.
Hey comedian, lol. Maybe you could let everyone know? Like lol after your comment or my fav, the green smilie? It's hard to know who is serious and who likes laughs. Me, I am almost always liking the laughs.
J. Gordon can be such an ass and then very honest in the same interview. He told Riggs to pass him on the straight away? What is that all about? All of who watched even half of any Bristol race knows that all the passing is done in the corners unless they move over for a faster car. Riggs is right, Gordon would have done the same thing. And for Gordon to say that Riggs was a really eratic when he was behind him, yea, because he was trying to pass your ass. Then in the same breath he admits he was holding Riggs up and trying to do all he could to hang on to 4th. Yes he is in the chase, but where would Riggs have finished if he got by Jeff a lot earlier? Where would Riggs be in the points if he qualified for the Daytona 500? He is 19th know.
... is Jeff Gordon the master of the backhanded compliment?
Gordon and Scott Riggs had a "discussion" after Saturday's race after which Gordon talked to a waiting Marty Snider. At first glance, he appeared to be showering compliments on Riggs and only questioning the method Riggs chose to pass him.
At Bristol.
But anyway, after a closer look at the quotes, I now think Gordon has come up with a great new skit for the next time he hosts Saturday Night Live:
Backhanded Compliment Guy.
"Well, the thing is, it's a top-five for him. And that's a great job for him. He hasn't seen top five."
Ouch. Actually he has. Three other times, in fact, including a second at Michigan a little over a year ago.
"He had such a good car. We had a great car there at times."
Uh, thanks, I think.

You are so right here, my friend Smoke! That is why the smiles are there, and y'all know how much I love to use them ! That way it lets others know more about how you mean what you say!
I have found as I have gotten older, that humor goes a long way in conveying and expressing your opinions! You catch more flies with sugar than vinegar!~LOL~
