Tony Stewart. A few years ago I watched the 500 with my wife who was a long time fan just getting back into it...so i decided i'd watch and try to pick a driver. Tony and Harvick jumped out quickly for their aggressiveness and in the end the orange of Home Depot won out and i've been a fan ever since. He's the best driver in the series in my opinion, tells it like it is and i met him in Michigan and he's just a nice friendly guy in person.
Paul Menard is my favorite. Just because he`s not a very agressive driver and because his car looks awesome! Also he has a great attitude about racing, he never gets angry when something goes wrong.

Awesome Bill from Dawsonville! In 1985, I was selling Fords. The T-Bird's body was by aerodynamically far superior over the Monte Carlo. Bill Was winning alot, especially on superspeedways. The Monday after he won the 1985 Datona 500, I had some older folks,(probably close to my age now, yikes) come in for a used Crown Victoria. I switched them to a new T-Bird. They preferred the conventional styling of the Crown Vic over the T-Bird. My closing line after telling them about the race was, "folks, at 200 mph, this body style is the difference of winning and losing, but at 55, its just real quiet". They bought the car, I made a $500 commission on Bill Elliots 1985 Datona 500 win. I started working for Stanley, in 1987. When Larry Mac announced that "Ole Bill Elliot's gonna be driven the Stanley Tools car next year, I just about S**t! I have been able to meet him breifly and watch him speak at the Hospitality before races 4 times. (got some cool swag too I might add)
