Ok... next week is gonna determine the who's in the Chase. we've got 9 guys (Harvick, Gordon, Kyle Busch, Earnhardt, Hammlin, Stewart, Martin & Kahne) going for 8 available spots.

So who do you think is gonna be on the outside?

I'd like to say it's gonna be Gordon but his position seems pretty solid. I think it's gonna be Burton. He's been struggling more often than not. Kahne has been on a roll and while he's out right now, I think momentum is on his side. Martin has been up and down like a yoyo. Last week he was down so this week I think he'll be up.

I hope Kahne gets in, crap, he's won so many races. It will really piSs me off if he doesn't get in...my picks would be either Martin or Burton but I'd like Burton to be in.

However, since you asked nicely...

Im glad Gordon should make the Chase, now he needs to win the Championship so I can hear more fans whining! Only joking.

But the people who deserve to be in the Chase is who have the consistent finishes, not the wins. Yes, Kasey Kahne has 5 wins, but he does not have the consistent finishes to go with that. With drivers like Mark Martin who has no wins, but he finishes consistent. 3 of the 5 Hendrick cars should be solidly in the Chase, and with Jeff Gordon running alot better this year, he should finish 25th or better. Hendrick Motorsports all the way!

I feel your pain Smoke!!! Ryan Newman didn't make the chase either, the first one he's missed! But I have had weeks to come to terms with it. Believe me Honey, it will get better and at least your still have Jr in there to cheer for!

Sorry to see the 20 out of the chase. I'm not really suprised though as he's been strugggling this past year. I just thought there were others who were less secure.
