I know this may be a bit off base but, I am a Jimmie Johnson fan and i think that nascar should have inforced the no pass under the yellow line rule on Kyle Busch. Maybe a bit of wreckless driving on the 18 and the 42 as well.
I think nascar enforces rules when and how they want, So my question is why have rules if not everyone has to follow them.
You are the second person to post that question about the same two drivers. Now...I'm thinking...I must have missed something. Because in each case I didn't think either advanced their position, and that's why they weren't penalized. Guess, I'm probably wrong. Oops
When Kyle passed Johnson he put his left side tires under the yellow line. However, Johnson came down to block Kyle forcing him(in the eyes of Nascar) below the line meaning no penalty for Kyle.

i see that is was not a big thing but a rule is a rule when they start letting people get away with things you start having problems. I was a more mad that it hung my guy out and shuffled him back in the field.
If you are "forced" below the line, there is no penalty. Kyle didn't go below the yellow in order to pass, he went under the line to avoid a wreck.
Good call for Kyle, good call for NASCAR, and too bad for Jimmie... He didn't have one of the best cars out there today no matter how you look at it, Jr., Stewart, Busch, and Hamlin did...

busch was not forced below the line. he went below the line, and nascar didn't enforce their rules. I quess nascar feels the need to kiss up to toyota for some reason.

Oh, come on... Johnson went down to block Busch and Busch had to go below the line to avoid taking them both out.
This isn't some sort of contrived Toyota conspiracy, that just makes you sound stupid...

look at the video and you can see the johnson didn't make anywhere enough of a move to force busch below the line. don't hate on me because I won't support the traitors who feel the need to run that toyota crap. Sounds to me like you don't want to see what really happened.
The best news I heard this week was that stewart seems to have some common sense in his head, wanting to move away from toyota.
It did look as if Jimmy pushed Kyle below the line but Kyle did pass so I guess it can go both ways. It doesn't really matter to me because I don't like Kyle or Jimmy.

Your opinion is obviously skewed by your hatred for a car manufacture... And most of what you heard about Stewart this week is speculation and nonsense. If Stewart had been that stern about wanting to stay with Chevy, JGR would have never went to Toyota in the first place. Tony wants to be competitive (Toyota is certainly doing that this year) and he wants to explore all his options as any smart driver would do. If JGR continues to be as competitive as it is this year, I don't see Tony going anywhere...
