The work ahead of us
Okay so I'm new to this site, but I figured I may aswell throw this out there. I am really working hard to change the stereo-type that goes with NASCAR. We all know that when most non-fans think of NASCAR, they think of drunk rednecks with insane back hair cheering for a bunch of cars going in circles. Dont get me wrong, having fun at the races is a must. But what I am asking is for fans, all fans to represent our sport in the best way possible. I really like this site due to the fact that everyone seems to be pretty respectfull to one another and thats the way it should be. We all have drivers we cant stand, but being ignorant and flat out disrespectfull does nothing but play right into the stereo-type. Not sure if anyone agrees with this or not but like I said, I just wanted to put it out there. Cheer with passion, enjoy the races and help bring the respect that is deserved to the greatest sport in the world...NASCAR.

You are so right and that is what we are about here at Nascar Space! First and foremost we all all race fans, and passionate ones at that! I don't think I have to make anyone feel bad or hurt their feelings just because I don't care for their favorite driver. We are all adults and can express ourselves without stooping down to name calling or personal assaults.
