Tony and Jr are buds and we have seen them work well together on the tracks like Daytona and Talladega. If he leaves DEI do you think he would consider driving for Gibbs? Maybe Gibbs could dump JJ Yeley and put Jr in the #18.

Don't think so. If Jr ever does leave DEI, I believe he will land at RCR. Him driving the 5 car yesterday was not unusual. It happens quite a bit, heck back in the factory days of the 60s, I remember a race where Bobby Allison, who was driving the Mario Rossi owned number 22 factory Dodge Charger being out of a race, (either blown engine or accident) and climbing into his brother, Donnie's Banjo Mathews owned number 27 factory Ford Torino Talladega and finishing the race, when Donnie needed a relief driver. That was during the all out factory wars. It is not uncommon for this to happen.
Dale Jr is budds with a lot of drivers..and remember he has his own race team now. If he doesn't resign with DEI, he will either go to RCR in the 3 or to JR Motorsports full time. I can't see any other scenario happen, even though he'll be courted by everyone in the garage to some degree or another.
IF Dale Jr. leaves DEI, which I don't believe will happen, he goes wherever he wants. RCR, Hendricks, Gibbs, Yates, Rousch there isn't a team out there that wouldn't try to get him. Eventually he will end up racing the #3 car for RCR or his own team but that will be awhile off.
