Bump drafting?

So I am sure this has been discussed before, but here's the question. What are your thoughts on bump drafting? Personally I think its not a big deal once you take into account the "No Bump Zones". I think doing it at 180 MPH is crazy in the turns, but on the straights, I say go for it.

I agree.
But I think they have taken away the bump and run with the new car. Will have to see when they run on a super speedway to see if it is really going to be an option now.

I LOVE! bump drafting, I don't know why Nascar had to yell at the people that were doing it in the turns. I'm sorry but you got 43 of the best drivers on the track I think they know what there doing and no matter what you do your not going to be able to stop the "Big One" one from happeing. I say let'em race the way they want to instead of treating grown men like there little kids and yelling at them when they bump to hard or something.

I love superspeedways becasue the racing is out of control and very fun to watch.
This is probably the last fun plate race we'll ever get to watch sense the COT is racing at Dega in the fall but still it will be fun to see how that car does on a super speedway.

Safety first!! Some drivers just can't do it. Why endanger someone's life.

I have to admit when I first starting watching racing (2004) I really didn't know yet what bumpdrafting was but when Harvick dumped about half the field at Daytona I soon found out what bumpdrafting was and didn't like it. But that was foolish of me not to like it just because he did it in the corner which I believe should be a no-no. Straightaways....have at it. It makes it more interesting. I love the view from the bumper cam when someone pulls right up on to it!!!!

The only problem with bump drafting is who is doing it to who and where they are on the track. It makes it hard to trust certain drivers who don't have the experience doing it. Other than that it makes for a better races.

Yeah don't get me wrong I'm all about safety and I agree with the other people in here bump drafting is fun to watch but not when it gets out of control like when a rookie driver takes it to far and does it all the way threw a turn. The only kind of bump drafting you can do in a turn is the tap like when your going into a trurn do a little tap on the back bumper of somebody and then let off but I don't like it when drivers shove another driver in to the turn, That is not bump drafting that's "Shoving". The "Tap". is fine as long as you know when to get on it and when to get off it.
