running over your airhose is a punishable offence? I didn't know that is that right or was it something else?

yes your not allowed to run over pit equiptment and the airhose is classified as that.

I really thought that we would see alot of pit road penaltys this year from airhoses/equipment getting hung up on the new COTs splitter/wing but so far the pit guys have been Really Great!!!
I have seen three mildly serious injurys to crew members trying to get tires/equipment back to the wall.
